Tips and Tricks
Here are some things we have learned that can help.
This is a logic puzzle and sometimes the solution is not intuitive, so planning is important.
Look the puzzle over
Evaluate the various corridor lengths. Formulate a sequence of taps from shortest to longest.
Remember, when the last corridor is filled, the maze path is walked. That is a massive bonus.
Tap from shortest to longest, so your last tap is on the highest multiplier.
Tap out unhelpful sections early
Any single cell that only touches the maze path does not help. Tap it out of the way so you can concentrate on taps that grow the multiplier.
Watch for sneaky single cells right next to the start or finish. They are easy to overlook.
Follow the ghost 👻 and watch the eyes 👀
If you get to the last tap, the eyes will tell you whether or not you achieved your goal. This gives you the opportunity to ↺ restart and tune your strategy.
When you become an ace, turn on expert mode to hide the eyes.
Two taps are better than one
Sometimes it is better to split your taps. Two smaller taps can yield a higher multiplier than one large tap. If the corridor length is the same as the previous one, you are not advancing the multiplier.
Pick a sequence that grows the multiplier.
Fun not Frustration
These puzzles are supposed to be challenging. But, we know, sometimes they can be frustrating, and that is a fine line.
If you've restarted 4 times, consider just finishing with the best sequence you can. Then come back in 🎯practice mode later. A 🚶walkthrough can provide insight and help you tune your future strategy.
Your strategy will evolve as you gain experience.
